The Indian engineering service providers FireproSystems Ltd. intends, to establish its European headquarters in the Luckenwalde Biotechnology Park (BTPL). FireproSystems Ltd. operates in 14 locations in India and maintain branch offices in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates, with 1,600 employees worldwide. The initial contact to this company was made through an Indian consultant to the management of Luckenwalde Biotechnology Park in November 2007. During a visit by the Director of the BTPL in February 2008 at the headquarters of FireproSystems Ltd. in Bangalore, the business opportunities in the Luckenwalde Biotechnology Park and individual services through the management have been explained in detail. In April 2008, representatives of FireproSystems Ltd. Luckenwalde persuade themselves by the conditions. After further meetings and visits in Luckenwalde and a return visit in Bangalore, the company decided to , a "Center of Excellence" in Luckenwalde Biotechnology Park. The project was presented during a visit to Mr. Junghanns, Brandenburg Economic Minister in March 2009 by FireproSystems in Bangalore. The company intend to set up a planning and advisory centre for life sciences, building management, fire protection and renewable energy. A total of even up to 50 engineers will be employed. The incorporation of FireproSystems GmbH was completed in August 2009. The BTPL management supported FireProSystems to manage all bureaucratic hurdles in founding a company, arranged contacts to attorneys and tax advisers, financial institutes and personal acquisition.In October 2009 the first office was rented, and currently runs the personnel search for the responsible business manager in Luckenwalde. The beginning of the operational work will be announced for January 2010.
