For the 22nd time "Analytica", the international guidance fair for instrumental analytics, laboratory technology and biotechnology opened their gates in Munich at the end of March. During exhibitions, conferences and comprehensive master programs the enterprises showed their product novelties, start ups presented their innovations and scientist discussed future trends. Biotechnology Park Luckenwalde also presented its offer of excellent infrastructure and settlement service. Beside over 1.000 exhibitors from 37 countries, from Luckenwalde Biotechnology Park, the well established "Bioline GmbH" and the new founded "Astra BioTech GmbH" was represented with their own booth. Both companies registered a high visitor frequency and successful business activity. Numbers of visitors at the fair remained stable this year, despite the strained economic situation of the last year, with approx. 33,000 professional attendees from more than 120 countries! In discussion with many professional attendees and with nearly all exhibitors from outside of the European Union the very good support possibilities during the establishment of a branch in the Biotechnology Park Luckenwalde could be obtained successfully.
